Devilbiss has released a new nasal mask, the FlexAire
with an innovative, unique feature. The FlexAire has
a foam filled bladder cushion. The firmness of the cushion is
adjustable by the user. Want it firm? Push the pump
button on the side of the mask. Too firm? Bleed some
pressure out by pushing a recessed vent. The mask has
other nice features, including a Quick release that
allows the user to detach the mask from the forehead
pad without removing the headgear. This mask's many
adjustments and user settings allow it to work on
for a wide range of users. The mask is one size fits most
with the average man's nose right in the middle of its
capabilities. Devilbiss FlexAire Product Page

Puritan Bennett, the makers of the world's smallest
CPAP, will release a super small Auto CPAP named the
420 Evolution October 10th. It is as small as the
other 420 models and will adjust pressures to your
needs as you sleep. This unit offers the tested
algorithms of the 418P in a super small, easy to
travel with package. The latest Silverlining Version
3.0 Software detailing the performance of the machine

Respironics has released a second model with the easy
to exhale feature "C-Flex". It is called the "Remstar
Plus with C-Flex". This machine breaths like the
popular full featured Remstar Pro but costs less. You

Resmed is releasing a new Auto cpap, the AutoSet
Respond. The machine has the "AutoSet Advantage"
algorithm, with a reduced compliance and result
measuring capability. Reducing these reporting
capabilities also reduces the price of the system. The
changes create a better value for those who do not
wish to buy software and review detailed results. We
will have more details on this machine next month.
The Medtrade Show is being held in Atlanta the first
week of October. This show always produces new
products and news and cpap.com will be there to get
the stories. We do know that Fisher & Paykel is
introducing a new nasal mask. Resmed will be releasing
their new "Activa" nasal mask. The Activa is causing
quite a stir in the industry with its active
suspension technology. Will this be THE mask to use?
We will find out. Resmed is also releasing the long
anticipated VPAP III. All we know for sure today is
that it is much smaller than VPAP II and very quiet.
Our October newsletter will have the latest on these
products and more.
