Resmed Delays Price Increase To Internet Buyers
Resmed has pushed back the launch date of a plan to put a 40% price increase
into effect for their products sold on the internet. Initially, Resmed informed
online CPAP Retailers that their plan would go into effect September 4th 2006 for
those who applied and were accepted as Resmed Authorized Internet Retailers.
CPAP Internet Retailers Are Accused Of Low Service By Industry
Finally, we are getting noticed by our industry! Well, at least we are noticed if not loved. A recent front page article in a home medical
equipment provider publication was highly critical of the service provided by CPAP Internet Retailers. The basic theme of the article was
that Internet prices were so low that Internet retailers were not able to offer service. It said that the result of no internet service is low CPAP compliance. We
believe that this position is out of touch with reality. We encourage those who support that position to dust off their computers and look at the
services CPAP Internet Retailers are offering.
Using CPAP equipment successfully is a daily challenge. It requires more patient knowledge and encouragement than is widely available from
traditional durable medical equipment dealers. Truth be told, most traditional durable medical equipment dealers have been unable to truly
take good care of their patients. The low compliance of patients on CPAP therapy testifies strongly to that fact, as do endless streams of
patient complaints on CPAP forums about traditional homecare dealers non-existant support after the sale.
Eight years ago, CPAP Internet retailing was born. It was different from any US based CPAP business that had come before it because its customers paid
out of their own pocket for goods and services. This is a very good thing because it holds the company providing service accountable to the
customer receiving it. If customers don't like dealing with a given online CPAP company, they simply take their business elsewhere.
To ensure that our customers continue to love dealing with CPAP.com, we've developed a number of absolutely free services for our customers to use including CPAP.com toll free telephone lines,
email question submission,
frequently asked question lists, CPAP chat rooms,

Due to these unique tools, patients and industry professionals alike are flocking to CPAP.com and CPAPtalk.com in ever increasing
numbers. CPAP forums are loaded with posts from experienced patients and industry experts helping others with encouragement and practical
suggestions. CPAP Internet Retailers are providing great services to CPAP patients to any and all that visit, whether they buy or not.
What is said in industry publications does not mean much. In ever increasing numbers, CPAP patients are going online and voting with their wallets. Our company provides value and service to those seeking it. In the end, watching long term relationships with our customers grow and multiply because of the services CPAP.com offers is all the encouragement and motivation we need.
Consumer Preference Report Formats Improved
Ever wonder what products are best sellers? When CPAP.com rolled out its Consumer Preference Report, we thought it would be a helpful
service for our customers to see what others were buying. We are pleased to see that CPAP manufacturers and Wall Street analysts often
refer to it as well. We have had many requests for printer friendly pages. You can now print charts or graphs as you like and control
how many products are printed on each graph. We update every Monday morning.

Customers Reviews Now Available In CPAP.com Product Pages
We admit it. We were afraid of including customer reviews in CPAP.com product pages. Could we trust our patients to be fair? Did we dare to give them so much influence over our store? Would they bother to post reviews? Would they understand that a product was not necessarily bad because of one bad review? We delayed for years because we didn't quite trust 'them' with the keys to our house. Well, we were wrong, big time.
CPAP.com product pages are now loaded with honest, often expert information submitted only by those who bought the item. The reviews are extremely useful to shoppers and product development people alike. Sometimes they hurt sales of an item, sometimes they help, but they always cause the best rise to the top. We thank each one of you who are reviewing and making CPAP.com a better resource for all. We get better every hour because of you.
